{"id":108,"date":"2008-05-29T15:04:53","date_gmt":"2008-05-29T22:04:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westfamilyblog.com\/?p=108"},"modified":"2008-05-29T15:04:53","modified_gmt":"2008-05-29T22:04:53","slug":"yosemite","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westfamilyblog.com\/?p=108","title":{"rendered":"Yosemite"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We headed up to Yosemite in early May, renting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scenicwonders.com\/rentals_scenicwonders.html\">a house<\/a> in a section of private land just outside the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yose\">park<\/a> called <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yosemite_West\">Yosemite West<\/a>.  We spent a long weekend with Katherine&#8217;s Austin friend Margaret, her husband Nathan and children Sofia and Zachary, and their friends Becca and Divit and their two boys.  We had warm, sunny, clear weather and enjoyed <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mariposa_Grove\">hikes through the redwoods<\/a> and some spectacular views of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yosemite_Valley\">Yosemite Valley<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Glacier_Point\">Glacier Point<\/a>.  Claire also loved her time in the hot tub, confirming she is a native Californian.  Also included is a grab bag of pictures from her Aunt Mona&#8217;s visit and of her looking adorable around the house.
