We rented a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vrbo.com\/271356\">condo<\/a> right on the southern shore of the lake in the Al Tahoe neighborhood. \u00a0Adventures included Claire trying her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Diamondback-Della-Cruiser-16-Inch-Wheels\/dp\/B002C8BBJM\/\">new bicycle<\/a> for the first time and picnicking on the lovely beach right next door to our condo.  We also ventured out to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/wps\/portal\/fsinternet\/!ut\/p\/c4\/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3gDfxMDT8MwRydLA1cj72BTJw8jAwjQL8h2VAQAzHJMsQ!!\/?ss=110519&amp;navtype=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&amp;cid=FSE_003693&amp;navid=100000000000000&amp;pnavid=null&amp;position=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&amp;recid=11785&amp;ttype=recarea&amp;pname=Lake%2520Tahoe%2520Basin%2520Mgt%2520Unit%2520-%2520Taylor%2520Creek%2520Visitor%2520Center\">a local state park<\/a> for the kids to see the running of the local salmon. \u00a0We even stopped off at a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pineomine.com\/\">u-pick apple orchard<\/a> on the way back home so the girls could see the origin of one of their favorite foods.
