Grandma Sharon came for a visit last week, and we had a fun time with her on all sorts of adventures including drawing on Claire’s new easel, going out to our favorite burger and milkshake place, and visiting the San Francisco Zoo. We’ve also got some pictures of Claire sharing her new easy chair with Juliet and a Mother’s Day picnic in a nearby park where Claire and her friend Laura blew bubbles and Juliet hung out with her friend John. A few weekends ago we headed up to Sonoma with our friends John and Deanna for a relaxing weekend at the the house of a friend of theirs in the warm sun of the wine country. With three kids under two, we didn’t get much wine tasting in but did still have some fun. Highlights included Claire learning to slide down the stairs on her bottom, Deanna making homemade cinnamon rolls (much to Claire’s fascination), and some sunbathing.
