So far we have managed to avoid nipple confusion with Juliet, although Claire seems to have developed “apple confusion,” a condition in which all fruits are called “apple”. Click on the triangle play button below for a video demonstration:

In this food-themed post, we’ve also got a quick slideshow of Claire enjoying another of her favorites, guacamole:

I thought it was really, really, really, really funny and cute. So does my friend Jacqueline! We love you!
Hey, when I was her age, any guy with a beard was “daddy”. I was “daddy”. Shel Siverstein was “daddy”. Raffi was “daddy”. Osama bin Laden was “daddy”….
Erm…that is, when *Will* was her age. Can’t type. Need more coffee….
Not to worry. It is perfectly normal for children of this age to “generalize” everything. When she gets closer to two, she will be calling an apple an apple and a pear a pear. She is gorgeous, as is her little sister. Your parents must be in seventh heaven. Where are they on the blog?
Love,
Helen
